Sunday erotic read

Am I the last one to have heard about the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy?
My girlfriend S assures me it is an erotic page-turner that She should not miss.

Bien sur, intrigued about the romantico-BDSM flavor, I got myself a copy. This should feed nicely my current terribly-sentimental-terrifically-sexual mindset.

Strong monogamous relationships where the characters naturally navigate the power plays tend to make up the great love & erotic stories: think Gone with the Wind, The Story of O or even Venus in Fur. I have been warned not to expect high-end literature but that suspense, great characters and even spicy email exchanges make up for what is missing. Which reinforces my belief that one should not strive to eliminate one’s shortfalls as much as focus on enhancing one’s particular skills. -Is that too long of a sentence for a Sunday?

And since I am a really gifted person who can do 2 things at once, I am listening to the playlist of the book compiled by the author, E.L. James while reading the book.

A moi, l’extase!

Why Men invented Fire

This is the reason I like men :

“I like naked women.  I’m a bloke.  I’m supposed to like them.  We’re born like that.  We like naked women as soon as we’re pulled out of one…. When man invented fire, he didn’t say, “Hey, let’s cook.”  He said, “Great, now we can see naked bottoms in the dark”… The story of male achievement through the ages, feeble though it may have been, has been the story of our struggle to get a better look at your bottoms. ”
